End of Watch

     It's with deep sadness that we announce that our beloved Brother Officer Marc Anthony DiNardo age 37 succumbed to his devastating injuries suffered at the hands of two murderers on July 16,2009. Our fallen Hero paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty leaving behind a devoted wife and his three small children, Gwendolyn, age 4, Marc Anthony II, age 3, Ella age 1. Marc was a second generation Police Officer following in his fathers footsteps. He was dedicated and passionate about the profession he loved, He was proud to wear the uniform, work in the Emergency Services Unit and serve the residents of Jersey City with great honor. This is a grim reminder of the dangers that all Officers face when they walk out of their homes and go to work. The ESU team faces even greater danger on a daily basis when responding to these life and death situations. May God and the archangel St. Michael continue to watch over us and protect us against the principals of evil.

The Family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the scholarship fund established by the POBA. All contributions should be made to the
